The website is described as being about personal productivity, life hacks, and simple ways to make your life a little better.

A good way to get to know the site is by looking at the categories of information available. The author has dedicated much of his writing to the Getting Things Done topic, but I myself prefer the following topics, amongst others:

Lifehacker, the Productivity and Software Guide ★★★★

Lifehacker, the Productivity and Software Guide

Lifehacker is a fairly geek oriented weblog with very frequent posting about lifehacks. Some folks (less geeky folks) may find this site a bit noisy, but to be honest they tend to be on top of the latest trends in this area and I've picked up some great stuff/ideas from Lifehacker.

Clement Stone to name a few), as well as hitting up the Goals and Goal Settting category.
