A Quick Note on Floyd and a Short Rant on Dick Pound

Just a quick note on the current Floyd Landis abnormal test result and a little rant about Dick Pound.

Via the TdF blog I found Free Floyd Landis, which has some interesting in-depth information about the tests and what is going on.

This is a good example of a blogger putting out better substance than journalists, or at least making an effort to find some truth amidst the noise.

As a side note, from where I stand Dick Pound either needs someone to help him with public relations or is clueless and should maybe find a new job.

The man consistently says irresponsible things to the press. It's ironic that some of my friends in Spain know Canadian Ben Johnson because he was a drug cheat, and they know of Canadian Dick Pound because he seems to be exactly the opposite. An anti-drug crusader who does not appear to understand where the lines are between enforcement and irresponsible action, in this case statements to the press.
